Munk Senior Fellow Philip Cross was interviewed for a BNN report to weigh in on the effects that the failure of NAFTA may have on the Canadian economy.
In the interview, Cross reasons that the termination of NAFTA would have a similar effect on Canadians doing business in the United States as Brexit has had on Brits doing business in the EU. Without the assurance of a trade agreement, longterm spending plans would be discouraged and business investments would wane.
Also included in the BNN report was input from MLI author Dr. Ian Lee, Professor of International Business at Carleton University.
