With US President Joe Biden hosting world leaders in his Summit of Democracies, much attention will be on the Indo Pacific theatre. From the Quadrilateral Strategic Dialogue, Trans-Pacific trade talks, and conflicts from the seas to the mountain ranges, the region’s great democracies are shaping a new international order. Alongside India and Japan, Taiwan and democratic ASEAN nations, Canada will need to join together to strengthen the rules-based order and define our Pacific prosperity.
