On May 5, 2022, the Macdonald Laurier Institute (MLI), in partnership with the Canada Tibet Committee, hosted a special private roundtable discussion with the visiting delegation of the Central Tibetan Administration headed by His Excellency, the Sikyong Penpa Tsering, President of the Central Tibetan Administration. In this exclusive event, the Sikyong expressed his thoughts on the resistance of the Tibetan people, why Tibet matters, and what Canada can do to support the people of Tibet.
