MLI Senior Fellow Richard Shimooka spoke with CTV News about the recent announcement of a troop mobilization by the Russian government.
“What this mobilization does is it gives the Russian government a lot more tools to keep people in service and to selectively call up individuals that they need, especially in specialist areas like electronic warfare and whatnot,” said Shimooka. “It ensures that they have the military capacity to continue this war and significantly ramp it up.”
