The Macdonald-Laurier Institute’s new website makes it easier than ever to access a wealth of expertise from a leader in Canadian public policy.
OTTAWA, June 11, 2014 –Good public policy now looks better than ever.
The Macdonald-Laurier Institute, Canada’s only truly national public policy think tank based in Ottawa, is today launching a new website. The totally redesigned page is designed to further engage opinion leaders, policy makers and the public in boosting MLI’s goal: making poor quality public policy unacceptable.
The new website is optimized to give visitors easy access to MLI’s high-quality, independent policy work, which ranges in diversity from natural resources to health care. It provides quick, easy access to the latest MLI news and media coverage, making it easier than ever to keep up with the activities of a Canadian leader in public policy.
MLI’s website relies heavily on photos and graphics while using a variety of colours to make the content more visually appealing. It is optimized for mobile-friendly devices like smartphones and combines with its already-launched mobile app to provide easy access to the latest edition of Inside Policy (MLI’s magazine), a wealth of videos from the institute and the latest MLI-organized events.
The site also features an entirely new “Media” section, which is designed to make it easier than ever for reporters, editors and producers to access MLI’s diverse public policy expertise as they shape the debate about the federal government’s activities.
