Toronto police have begun the deployment of body-worn cameras among frontline officers with aims to increase accountability. However, critics worry this will simply be a band-aid solution. MLI Senior Fellow Christian Leuprecht joined Global News to discuss the rollout of the body-worn cameras.
“The problem with body cameras it puts the attention on the individual sworn members instead of asking the broader strucutural problems,” explains Leuprecht.
