On June 2, 2022, the Macdonald-Laurier Institute (MLI), with the support from the Embassy of Korea in Canada, was pleased to host a high-level roundtable discussion on building stronger ties with ASEAN – focusing on perspectives from Canada and Korea.
In addition to MLI Senior Fellow and Director of the Indo-Pacific Program, Jonathan Berkshire Miller, we were pleased to have in attendance a number of dignitaries, including Republic of Korea’s Ambassador to Canada, Mr. Keung Ryong Chang, the Philippines’ Ambassador to Canada, Mr. Rodolfo Robles, and Vietnam’s Ambassador to Canada, Mr. Pham Cao Phong.
A diverse range of participants were also part of this important discussion, including former ambassadors, academics, diplomats, and more.
