Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau might not be known for energy development policies.
But MLI Senior Fellow Sean Speer believes he might be exactly the right person to build a bridge, beginning with his meeting this week with Aboriginal leaders, between Canada’s energy sector and First Nations.
“I think there’s a real prospect that we look back on this week as a shaping one”, said Speer in an interview on CBC TV’s The Exchange.
The interview with Speer, who is the author of a recent MLI commentary on energy issues, begins at the 21:55 mark.
MLI Senior Fellow Ken Coates, the commentary’s co-author, also did interviews with CBC Yukon and on News Talk radio in Saskatchewan.
