MLI Board Chair and Co-founder of auto parts giant Martinrea International, Rob Wildeboer, appears in Wednesday’s Toronto Star talking about Canada’s auto sector.
Speaking at the start of a three day trade show with more than 6,000 participants, Rob gave a state of the industry report from a Canadian perspective. The Star reports:
Wildeboer said Canadian governments must cut border barriers to trade with the U.S., craft better tax strategies to drive investment and reduce rising service costs such as electrical power. Furthermore, governments should institute policies that encourage people to be more productive, he said.
