MLI Distinguished Fellow Jack Mintz joined BNN Bloomberg to discuss why the carbon tariffs on imports proposed by the Democrats should be a primary concern for Canadians as we await the results of the American election.
“If you read the Biden plan, it also includes carbon border adjustments and there’s a lot of discussion about China with respect to that,” explains Mintz. “But one could use that in other contexts well, and could be used against Canada.”
