Munk Senior Fellow Christian Leuprecht spoke with CBC News about the recent Ukrainian losses in Severdonetsk and the propaganda value this represents for Russia. He also warned of the potential for “Ukraine-fatigue” in Western society: “There is a real concern that once Western populations realize the cost of filling up a tank of gas for instance…they will ask ‘how important is Ukraine, really?'”
