The failure presently being experienced by the world is not one of health systems or economic fundamentals, it is a failure of governance and leadership. The failure of the World Health Organization to alert the world to the true danger of the pandemic, due to its deference to China, is a symptom of a wide ranging failure of the UN and other organizations to reject the influence of regimes that seek to undermine Western values, from human rights bodies to free trade. The UN begs for relevance. The G20 is floundering. The World Trade Organization is ineffective.
This webinar detailed the failure of global institutions to defend security, health, freedom and prosperity in the world. It identified what measures Canada, Germany and their allies should pursue for the reform of existing institutions and adoption of new and more effective ones, such as a Concert of Democracies or a D20, a body of the world’s leading free nations, to address global issues.
