Macdonald-Laurier Institute Senior Fellow Benjamin Perrin has established himself as a thought leader on the Supreme Court’s role as a policy-maker in the Canadian political system.
This month he got yet more recognition for it from the Globe and Mail.
Globe columnist Konrad Yakabuski, in a column urging Canadians to pay more attention to the Court’s policy-making functions, referenced Perrin’s work on the subject.
This includes his 2014 paper making the case for the Court as the “Policy-Maker of the Year” and his paper from earlier this year evaluating the Court’s activities in 2015.
