Munk Senior Fellow Christian Leuprecht joined CBC News to discuss recent escalations in the Russia-Ukraine War, with Russia’s usage of Iranian kamikaze drones to target Ukraine’s critical civilian infrastructure. Leuprecht also discussed the nature of the Russo-Iranian partnership and the geo-strategic interests that underlie it.
“Ukraine doesn’t need to win this war, it just needs to demonstrate that it will not lose,” said Leuprecht. “What we’ve seen in recent months, including the ability to push back against the Russian offensive… means that Ukraine is standing firm in its commitment not to lose this war.”
