Munk Senior Fellow Christian Leuprecht, a political science professor at Queen’s University, spoke to CPAC’s Prime Time Politics on the Russia-Ukraine war and new peace talks between the two countries,. “This is a two-step process,” says Leuprecht. “First, trying to get a ceasefire in place, and then trying to develop a pathway towards a negotiated settlement that might actually be sustainable.” Leuprecht also addresses such issues as Ukrainian neutrality and Canada’s possible role in keeping the peace.
