Macdonald-Laurier Institute Senior Fellow Ken Coates fielded questions on everything from the Supreme Court’s Tsilhqot’in decision on Aboriginal land title to the First Nations transparency act in an “Ask Me Anything” on Reddit on Tuesday, Feb. 24, 2015.
Coates, a researcher on Aboriginal affairs, took questions for about an hour.
Among the topics he covered: a recent Maclean’s article detailing accusations of racism in Winnipeg, Aboriginal engagement in business and lessons from the Northern Gateway pipeline debate.
He also answered some theoretical questions on how he would change the Canadian constitution and which former Canadian would most draw his ire.
