The latest COVID Misery Index update shows that Canada is lagging behind its peers at recovering from the COVID-19 pandemic. The biggest factor contributing to overall misery amongst Canadians is the negative economic impact, putting Canada in 15th place of all 15 countries ranked. MLI Senior Fellow Richard Audas joined BNN Bloomberg to discuss.
“We’re still behind in second dose vaccinations and really where the real damage is occurring is with the ongoing lockdowns which we are now coming out of and the economic impact which has been substantial,” notes Audas.
