Evidence from the Emergencies Act inquiry has revealed that Ottawa city officials were unprepared for the Freedom Convoy, with city police left without the resources and tools needed to deal with the protest.
Munk Senior Fellow Christian Leuprecht joined guest host Adrienne Batra to discuss Canada’s policing system in the context of the Freedom Convoy protests; explaining why it is poorly suited for a new era of mass public protest, and why Canadians will need real leadership to fix it.
