MLI Senior Fellow Christian Leuprecht joined the Roy Green Show to discuss the operation and cooperation between national security agencies in combatting terrorism and intelligence sharing, as well as the threat of China to a free and democratic Taiwan.
“Canada is a standout in a couple of capabilities: that is to say Canada does not have a foreign collection intelligence agency other than our signals intelligence agency,” said Leuprecht. “And so it is the one G7 democracy that does not have this particular capability and so there is a long-time percepton by other fellow G7 countries … that Canada may be fre-riding on some of the other capabilities.”
