When it launched last month, MLI’s Provincial COVID Misery Index revealed the full extent of the suffering of Canadian provinces during the COVID-19 pandemic. As MLI’s rankings have shown, some provinces have managed the pandemic much better than others, with the larger, wealthier provinces suffering disproportionately from lockdowns, crumbling economies, and disease and death.
With Ontario still tightly locked down and other provinces opening up, MLI assembled a panel of experts to reflect on the extent to which Canada and its provinces have created or prevented misery through their actions during the COVID-19 pandemic. To learn more about the PCMI click here.
