Macdonald-Laurier Institute Managing Director Brian Lee Crowley appeared on CBC TV’s The Exchange to wake Canadians up to a startling truth: Our health care system is not as great as we think it is.
“It’s very common for people to say Canadians have the best health care in the world”, says Crowley. “The people who say that are not looking at the evidence”.
The interview, which begins at the start of the show, was based off of the latest part in MLI’s Medicare’s Midlife Crisis series.
The latest entry, the third part in a series of videos, examines examples from other countries (and even one Canadian province!) that Canada can follow in reforming its expensive and underperforming health care system.
