Senior Fellow Gregory John has accumulated a wealth of professional experience in two countries and across many industries with over a decade’s experience in Indigenous and Stakeholder relations in energy.
A citizen of the Métis Nation of Alberta, his experience and expertise lie in Indigenous relations, strategy, negotiations, communications, and public relations. John’s career has helmed a consulting firm, Four Peaks Business Development Ltd, and a tech start-up, Unimaize Technologies Inc. John holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Finance and an Executive MBA from the University of Calgary.
He is the one of the University of Calgary’s youngest elected Senators, a member of the Calgary Police Chief’s Indigenous Advisory Board and was a member of the 2020–21 Global Petroleum Show Executive Steering Committee.
