MLI author Dwight Newman spoke to CFAX 1070 about the Supreme Court’s decision, released last week, that expands the rights of Aboriginals to control their ancestral lands.
Appearing on Victoria’s CFAX, Newman agreed with a suggestion that the decision was “a game changer” for the relationship between Aboriginals and non-Aboriginals.
Newman also told the Saskatoon Star Phoenix that the Supreme Court “is very much attuned to expanding indigenous rights”.
