The issue of wealth and power in Canada was thoroughly covered by our two esteemed debaters, Armine Yalnizyan, senior economist with the Canadian Centre for Policy Alternatives, and William Watson, economics professor at McGill University. The debate was moderated by the great Canadian historian, Jack Granatstein.
Join us on Thursday June 20, for our nest Great Canadian Debate “Resolved: The Government of Quebec can decide unilaterally to secede from Canada”.
Our two debaters will be the Hon. Stéphane Dion, former leader of the Liberal Party of Canada, Cabinet Minister, and framer of Canada’s Clarity Act and Daniel Turp; former Member of Parliament for the Bloc Quebecois and former Member of the National Assembly with the Parti Quebecois.
