Administrative and Events Coordinator
Jia Kim joined the Macdonald-Laurier Institute in February 2023 as an Administrative and Events Coordinator. Born in South Korea, she is passionate about driving a positive social impact and change within and beyond her community. Before joining MLI, she worked for the Konrad Adenauer Research Chair in Empirical Democracy Studies and the Graduate School of Public and International Affairs at the University of Ottawa as a Graduate Research Assistant. In her most recent role at the Korean Cultural Centre Canada, she was a Program Assistant, working to promote cultural exchange and enhance mutual understanding between Canada and South Korea through various Korean cultural programs and events. With her broad academic and professional background in Political Science, Jia is dedicated to making meaningful contributions to Canadian society.
