Communications Officer
Alex Ellison is a Communications Officer at the Macdonald-Laurier Institute. She brings a background in political communications, journalism, and multimedia production to her role at MLI.
Prior to joining the Institute, Alex worked on Parliament Hill as a Member’s Assistant, where she contributed to speechwriting, strategic communications, and stakeholder engagement. She previously served as a producer with CBC Radio and worked as a Canadian correspondent for WORLD Magazine, reporting on national affairs, culture, and public policy issues.
Alex holds an Honours Bachelor of Arts in Media and Communications Studies with a specialization in Multimedia Journalism from the University of Guelph-Humber.
