Brian Lee Crowley, the managing director of the Macdonald-Laurier Institute, is set to discuss First Nations’ participation in natural resource projects at an economic conference taking place in Regina.
Crowley will deliver a speech entitled “Governments, Aboriginal People and the Natural Resource Economy: Unlocking the Opportunities” on July 11.
The closed-door Economic Conference is organized by Casgrain & Company Ltd., a Canadian investment dealer.
Crowley’s talk will build on the wealth of research MLI has built up over the past few years on including Aboriginals in natural resource development.
