Dan Mader is a founding partner at Loyalist Public Affairs, a boutique government relations and strategic communications firm. Before co-founding Loyalist, he worked in the federal government, where he led the development of policy in several departments including Environment, Transport, Infrastructure, and the Treasury Board and later served as Chief of Staff to the minister responsible for defence procurement.
Dan has extensive political campaign experience including leading the development of the 2021 Conservative Party of Canada election platform. Dan began his career designing enterprise software, then worked as a management consultant and as an executive at a technology company. He is an active volunteer with the Writer’s Trust of Canada and the Jewish National Fund of Canada. Dan has an MBA from the Rotman School of Management at the University of Toronto and a BMath in Computer Science from the University of Waterloo.
