Veso Sobot is Director of Corporate Affairs for IPEX Group of Companies, Canada’s largest manufacturer of plastic pipe and fittings for the construction industry. IPEX operates 15 plants across Canada and 7 in the U.S. and exports worldwide. An engineer by training, he holds a degree in Civil Engineering and Management from McMaster University (1985). A strong proponent for free markets and fair trade as the best way to increase prosperity, he lives in Burlington, Ontario with his wife Susan. His daughter Lauren is studying at St FX University in Antigonish, Nova Scotia while his son Peter is a software engineer for Spotify, a music company in Manhattan, NY.
