David McDonough is Senior Editor at the Macdonald-Laurier Institute, and a research fellow at Dalhousie University’s Centre for the Study of Security and Development. He previously was Research Manager and Senior Editor at the Conference of Defence Associations Institute. He received a PhD in Political Science from Dalhousie University in 2011. He has published and edited widely on Canadian strategic policy and international security, including as editor of Canada’s National Security in the Post-9/11 World: Strategy, Interests, and Threats (University of Toronto Press, 2012).
